Three men have been killed and another eight people injured in an overnight shooting at a lounge in New York.
NYPD said multiple shooters were involved in the incident after a “dispute” and a hunt is under way to find those responsible.
The shooting occurred at around 3.30am on Sunday at Taste Of The City Lounge in the Crown Heights neighbourhood of Brooklyn.
Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch told a news conference three men had died – a 27-year-old, a 35-year-old, and a male of an unknown age.
Eight others – five men and three females – have been taken to local hospitals.
Ms Tisch said the 11 victims ranged in age from 27 to 61.
The police chief said multiple shooters were involved in the incident at the Franklin Avenue venue, with at least 36 shell casings recovered.
A firearm has been recovered in the nearby vicinity of Bedford Avenue and Eastern Parkway, with detectives continuing to canvass available CCTV.
Ms Tisch said: “At this time, no one is in custody.”
She added: “It’s a terrible thing that happened this morning, but we’re going to investigate and get to the bottom of what went down.”

The shooting comes amid a record low year for gun violence in New York City, however follows on from a separate shooting in Times Square this month in which three people were left injured.
