Pharmaceutical company Apnimed says it’s getting positive results from the clinical trials for an oral pill that could treat sleep apnea. It’s taken before bedtime to help keep airways open during sleep. The primary treatment for sleep apnea is currently a CPAP machine which pumps air through a sleep mask and into the airway.
