As President Donald Trump faces new scrutiny over the Jeffrey Epstein files, the White House appears to be attempting to shift attention away from Epstein with Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard accusing former President Barack Obama, without evidence, of manipulating intelligence tied to the probe of Russia’s role in the 2016 election. It comes as the Wall Street Journal reports Trump’s name appears multiple times in the DOJ’s unreleased files. NBC’s Garrett Haake reports and Meet the Press moderator Kristen Welker joins TODAY with analysis.
